何か困ったとき、相談するのは日常的にかかわる身近な地域日本語教室や子ども食堂など地域における活動の現場です。相談を受けた側から「普段目にすることばだけれど、自分も実はよくわかっていないこともある」という声をよく耳にします。そこで、外国人相談事業や地域日本語教育支援を行ってきたCINGAが、日本の制度やことばについて知ることができる動画コンテンツを作成しました。

外国人登録原票って何ですか？

外国人登録原票は2012年７月９日以前に、住んでいるまちの役所に登録された外国籍住民の情報が書かれた役所の書類です。
その書類には氏名、居住歴、国籍、職業、旅券番号、在留資格、働いている会社のことなどが記録されていました。
2012年７月９日に新しい在留管理制度が始まり、外国人住民も日本人と同じく住民登録をして住民票に記載されるようになりました。
外国人登録制度の終了後、外国人登録原票は法務省に送られました。
前の制度のときに住んでいたまちの役所に登録した住所や在留の記録などの情報を知りたい場合は、出入国在留管理庁に「外国人登録原票の開示請求」という手続をします。

What is Alien Registration Record?

It is a government document containing registered personal information of the foreign residents before July 9, 2012.
The document recorded information such as name, residential history, nationality, occupation, passport number, status of residence, and employments.
On July 9, 2012, the new residency management system came into effect. Since then, the foreign residents have been registered and listed on the Resident Record, in the same procedure as the Japanese nationals.
The Alien Registration system came to an end and the Alien Registration Records were sent to the Ministry of Justice.
If you want to know your personal information, such as addresses registered at the municipal offices where you lived before and your residency records during the previous system, you can file a request for disclosure of the Alien Registration Record with the Immigration Services Agency.
