何か困ったとき、相談するのは日常的にかかわる身近な地域日本語教室や子ども食堂など地域における活動の現場です。相談を受けた側から「普段目にすることばだけれど、自分も実はよくわかっていないこともある」という声をよく耳にします。そこで、外国人相談事業や地域日本語教育支援を行ってきたCINGAが、日本の制度やことばについて知ることができる動画コンテンツを作成しました。

介護保険って何ですか？

介護保険は、介護が必要になった人を助ける保険です。
年をとったり、特別な病気になったりして毎日の生活をすることが難しくなったとき、介護保険に入って保険料を払った人は介護サービスを利用することができます。
40歳以上の人がこの保険に入ります。
3か月より長く日本に住む外国人も介護保険に入ります。
介護保険の保険料は前の年にもらった給料などで決まります。
40歳から64歳の人は、医療保険のお金と一緒に払います。
65歳以上の人は、あなたがもらう年金から介護保険料が引かれます。

What is Long-Term Care Insurance?

It is an insurance policy that helps people who need long-term care.
When people become old or have a particular illness and face difficulties
in their daily activities, they can use nursing care services if they have enrolled in the Long-Term Care Insurance program and paid the premiums.
People aged 40 or over enroll in this insurance program.
The foreign residents living in Japan for over three months are expected to join
the Long-Term Care Insurance program as well.
The premium for the Long-Term Care Insurance is determined on the sum of salary,
etc. received in the previous year.
People between the ages of 40 and 64 are to pay for it together with their medical
insurance premiums.
For People aged 65 and over, the premium for the Long-Term Care
Insurance is deducted from the pension benefits they receive.
