何か困ったとき、相談するのは日常的にかかわる身近な地域日本語教室や子ども食堂など地域における活動の現場です。相談を受けた側から「普段目にすることばだけれど、自分も実はよくわかっていないこともある」という声をよく耳にします。そこで、外国人相談事業や地域日本語教育支援を行ってきたCINGAが、日本の制度やことばについて知ることができる動画コンテンツを作成しました。

住民票って何ですか？

住民票とは市区町村に住んで住民登録をした人の氏名や住所などに関する情報が書かれた役所の書類です。
2012年7月9日からは、3か月より長く日本に住む外国人も住民票に記載されるようになりました。
国際結婚している人など、日本国籍でない家族の人も住民票に記載されます。
外国人の住民票には、外国人住民となった日、国籍・地域、特別永住者または中長期在留者の別、在留資格、在留期間、在留カードの番号なども書かれています。
住んでいるまちの役所で「住民票の写し」を発行してもらうと、自分や家族の居住関係
の情報を証明できます。

What is Resident Record?

It is a municipal government document that contains the name and address, etc. of a person living in a city, ward, town, or village.
After July 9, 2012, the foreign residents who live longer than three months in Japan are also included in the Resident Record.
Family members who are not Japanese nationals, such as those who are internationally married, are listed on the Resident Record as well.
The Resident Record of the foreign residents includes information such as the date of becoming a foreign resident, country or region, whether a resident is a special permanent resident or a mid to long-term resident, status of residence, period of stay, and the Residence Card number.
If you have a copy of your Resident Record issued at your local municipal office, you can prove the residential information on yourself and your family members.
