何か困ったとき、相談するのは日常的にかかわる身近な地域日本語教室や子ども食堂など地域における活動の現場です。相談を受けた側から「普段目にすることばだけれど、自分も実はよくわかっていないこともある」という声をよく耳にします。そこで、外国人相談事業や地域日本語教育支援を行ってきたCINGAが、日本の制度やことばについて知ることができる動画コンテンツを作成しました。

労働契約書って何ですか？

会社などで働くときに、働く人と会社が結ぶ契約の書類です。
労働条件がはっきりわかるように書いてあります。
労働契約書には、契約の期間、契約更新の決まり、働く場所や仕事の内容、仕事の時間や休みの日、給料の計算や払い方、労働契約終了についての決まり、などについて、きちんと書いていなければなりません。
契約するときは話を聞くだけではなく、紙の契約書をもらって、何が書いてあるか調べてからサインをしてください。
日本語や契約の内容がわからなかったら、わかる言葉に翻訳してもらったり、説明してもらいましょう。

What is Labor Contract?

It is a contractual document between a worker and an employee when the worker starts working for the company, etc.
It describes the working conditions clearly and understandably.
A labor contract must specify a contract period, rules for renewal, place of work and job description, schedule of work hours and days off, how to calculate and pay salaries, and practices for termination of the labor contract.
When signing the contract, do not just listen to the explanation; get the printed or written contract form and find out what it says before signing.
If you do not understand the Japanese language or the contents of the contract, ask for a translation into the language you know or an explanation.
